NEXT PHASE OF BUMPER INTEGRATION GOES LIVE ON THE PINEWOOD AUTOMOTIVE INTELLIGENCE™ PLATFORM

Pinewood.AI users can now enjoy a unified payment experience, via Bumper PayPad, which is now live on the platform. The addition of PayPad follows the launch of Pay by Bank, Pay by Card and Pay by Link services on the system in April 2025.

Together with the existing Bumper services on the Pinewood Automotive Intelligence™ Platform, the integration of PayPad enables Pinewood.AI users to access Bumper Pro – Bumper’s full suite of payment tools for dealerships and OEMs. Bumper Pro helps retailers reduce card transaction fees, automate workflows, and gain clearer visibility into sales and aftersales performance.

What’s new?

The powerful PayPad solution equips our customers with a unified payment experience, enabling them to process every type of transaction through Bumper, including in-store PoS payments, remote card transactions, secure bank-to-bank transfers and flexible Buy Now, Pay Later options.

Donna Chapman, CRM Product Owner at Pinewood.AI, explained that this is particularly good news for those involved in processing payments She said: “The integration ensures payments are automatically added into the system, avoiding the need for teams to manually upload them, which of course makes the process faster and more efficient. This especially benefits teams involved in processing payments, including sales teams and service advisors.”

The integration is already saving time for dealerships by allowing payments to be viewed directly on the PayPad. It will also slash administration time, as all payments will be consolidated in one place, under a single payment provider.

The news follows our announcement earlier year, where we confirmed that Bumper would become the sole provider of open banking services to Pinewood.AI users in the UK. We are proud to have held a long-standing partnership with Bumper’s PayLater service, which has been offered through our vehicle health check tool since 2020.
